Ginger Hardy
Chief Operating Officer
Ginger has dedicated close to 30 years to be a support to individuals within the financial services industry. She began her career in the securities arena within American Capital’s Legal Department, and through many changes over the years, is the Chief Operating Officer with the group. As years pass by and firms and fund groups experience transitions, what Ginger believes “IS” consistent is personal relationships with her team, financial advisors and backoffice support. In her mind, that is what makes the commitment to this industry worth the years.
Ginger holds the Series 7, 63, 66 and 24 registrations. She is designated to oversee the administrative and operational functions of the firm, serves as an OSJ delegate, provides advisor support, is involved in transitions, training, internal campaigns/events, external marketing, serves as a back office Liaison, and within this industry …. continues to learn new things every day.
Her commitment to the securities industry began in 1983 within the legal department of American Capital Asset Management. She joined Advantage Capital Corporation in 1987 working with Lea Goodman (now retired, but former OSJ and Managing Partner of The Legacy One Group). In 1989 Ginger was promoted to Paralegal, in 1990 to Legal Project Specialist, and in such role became part of the General Securities Department in 1997 where she assisted in the marketing and development of Advantage Capital's advisory product . She left Advantage Capital in 1999 as Assistant Vice President and began her voyage into motherhood with boy/girl twins. After a 10 year gap from the industry and four kids later, Ginger joined The Legacy One Group in October 2009.
Ginger is a true native Texan. She shares her time outside of Legacy One with her husband of over 25 years, her four children, and two rescue dogs. She plays the piano, violin, and wishes she knew how to dance. She enjoys watching Hallmark movies and going on cruises. If you were to ask her how she feels about her career path, she would tell you, “It’s been a good ride”.
